...Aannd another one...
I'm on a roll before the year is over..LOL.
I found this Youtube video below (The Beat by Allen Parr) VERY helpful and quite frankly it is straight from the "horse's mouth" if you will..LOL. We as women can save ourselves a lot of heartache and pain if we HEED THE WARNINGS and RED FLAGS. Trust me I have been there, wasted a lot of time, and NEVER want to go through this again. One of my favorite scriptures is Song of Songs 2:7 which says: "Promise me, O women of Jerusalem, by the gazelles and wild deer, not to awaken love until the time is right." This can translate as do not give your heart away too soon. Wait on God for the right timing on a relationship/marriage. You are too precious for someone to lead you on and waste your time. We all deserve a godly man that will treat us like a Queen, cherish us, and make us feel wanted. A man that only has eyes for us.👫💕💒
I have listed out each of the key point starting marks:
#1 - 1:21 - Communication is inconsistent
#2- 1:51- Not willing to commit to a relationship
#3- 2:31- Unwilling to schedule a date in advance
#4- 3:41- No interest in talking to you or getting to know you
#5- 4:22- Hanging out with you on "Off-peak hours"
#6- 5:22- He wants to keep you a secret and unwilling to introduce you to people close to him
#7- 6:18- He says he wants to be friends but his actions show otherwise
#8- 6:52- He is unwilling to spend his money on you (it doesn't mean he has to take you to the most expensive restuarants, etc but if he is being cheap..watch for that). Ask yourself is he willing to make an investment in you/the relationship

I hoped this helped ...and may we curve all counterfeits going into 2018!

6 THINGS THAT HELPED ME AFTER GOING NATURAL
Thursday, December 28, 2017
Hi guys! 😊
As we are closing out the year I wanted to share 6 things I put into practice that helped me tremendously after going natural.
First up is knowing my Hair Porosity. When I researched on how to transition to natural I thought the main key was hair TYPE. I compared my hair to other Youtubers and would get frustrated when certain products failed on my hair. I then stumbled across finding out my hair POROSITY. This is the key (IMO) to choosing the right products for your hair. There are 3 categories- Low, Medium, and High. I fall into Low Porosity. To determine what type of porosity you have you can incorporate the float test. Take a clean strand of hair and place in a glass of water for a couple of minutes.
After a while the hair strand will float (low porosity), sink (high porosity), or float in the middle (medium porosity).

Low Porosity
1. Hair has a hard time retaining moisture
2. Low Po hair LOVES heat/deep conditioning
3. Low Po hair is protein sensitive -coconut oil is a no-no :(
Medium Porosity
1. Prone to split ends
2. Takes longer to dry
High Porosity
1. Use less heat
2. Rinse with cold water to prevent frizz
Next up is Pre-pooing before I shampoo. This softens my hair up, loosens product, and prepares it for all the rinsing and cleansing.
Third is Deep Conditioning on a regular basis (preferably weekly to every 2 weeks). Being that my Low Po tresses need constant moisture I have to keep a regular routine of deep conditioning. I try to incorporate a protein treatment once a month to every 2 months so I won't get a deep conditioning moisture overload and to keep my hair balanced. I also like to warm up my conditioner in the microwave for 12 seconds. My hair LOVES IT! My HG at the moment is TGIN Honey Miracle Mask. (←click here)
It is protein free and has honey which is a natural humectant.
Fourth is using a Leave-In conditioner on my hair before bed. One of my HG is
TGIN Green Tea and Argan Oil leave in. (←click here). For the most part, I wear a fro/puff (mainly because of my workout regimen) and at night I have to seperate, saturate with my leave-in, braid and tuck my ends. This is what I have found works for me. It makes it so much easier to style and go in the a.m.
Fifth is Trimming my ends. This is a must. Whenever you can see through your ends and they knot up/tangle easily it's time to SNIP SNIP! Don't be afraid of the scissors! They are your friend! LOL Whether you develop a routine or trim on an as needed basis your hair will thank you. There's nothing worse than see through ends! When I can't make it to the salon, I trim my own ends and make sure I purchase hair trimming shears from my local beauty supply. Be sure to only use hair trimming shears ONLY for trimming your hair and keep the blades clean.
Last but not least is taking a good Hair Vitamin. Our hair is an outward display of what we are putting in our bodies. That is why vitamins are so important. I used to take a vitamin with Zinc, Lysine, MSM, Magnesium, etc. but I had to switch because the Lysine had side effects. I am now taking a Bone health vitamin with Zinc, Magnesium, Vitamin D3, and Calcium because I am sensitive to Biotin. Vitamin A, K, B6, B12, Zinc, and Horsetail are all vitamins that are beneficial for your hair and you will for sure see growth along with drinking plenty of water.

A SINGLE WOMAN'S PRAYER
Monday, December 11, 2017• Faith
Hey ya'll!
I just wanted to post the below poem (ALLL the way at the bottom..lol) as a word of encouragement for single women like myself.
At times when you have been waiting, and waiting, and waiting... it gets HARD! Trying to live holy and please God. The struggle is ALL.THE.WAY.REAL! 😩
That flesh is no joke! ⇒(Galatians 5:16)

Just know God has not forgotten you or me. Our times of loneliness are times we need to fellowship with God, love on Him, and listen for direction. As bad as we want that male companionship, God wants our fellowship too. Just imagine being in a relationship/marriage with your God given "Bae" but you NEVER talk to him. You never text, call, send a smoke signal...nothing. That is how God feels when we turn ALL of our attention on other things or people.
He longs to commune with you. Be encouraged that if you have the desire for marriage God will fulfill it BUT He must come first.
❤ Matthew 6:33 ❤
Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.
Love,
Candace

Bible Verse of the Day
“He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem. Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted.” -Isaiah 53:3-4
